How do I apply?
- You can apply by filling out our online registration forms which includes all of the waivers and information forms needed for camp and paying by credit card..
- You can download a PDF application and mail it to us with a check. You will be sent a confirmation via email and you will be asked to go online to fill out all the necessary paperwork that is required for camp.
Can I fax in my application?
No, we accept applications and checks only through the mail or by credit card through the online registration.
Can I pay by credit card?
Yes, only if you register online through our website. All other payments must be made by check or money order.
What is the required paperwork that you have to do online?
We have gone paperless this year. When you register online, you will be asked a number of questions. These questions will cover the Stanford Liability Waiver, the Insurance Information, the Airport Transportation Information, and the Evaluation Form. If you mailed your application into the office with a check, you will be sent instructions so that you will be able to get this information to us.
When is the balance for camp
due?
Your balance is due by June 1, 2008, along with all of the necessary information that is required for the camps.[top]
How do I pay my balance and where
do I send it?
There are two ways that you can pay your balance.
- You can mail a check directly to the Stanford Volleyball
Office. Make checks payable to Stanford Athletics. Our address

- You can pay your remaining balance online with a credit card. You will be able to go back into your online account and pay your balance at any time. If you checked the Auto-Pay button at the time of your registration, the balance will be automatically deducted from your credit card on June 1. [top]
Are all the camps located
on the Stanford campus?
Yes, all camps are conducted on Stanford athletic facilities
located on the Stanford University campus in Palo Alto, California.
The Volleyball camp will be using Maples Pavilion, Burnham
Pavilion and Ford Center.
What does each camper receive?
Each camper will receive a Nike camp t-shirt and Nike

Does my child need to bring her own
water?
Gatorade stations will be available in each facility.
There are also water fountains in each gym and bottled water
is available for $1.00 at the camp store.
What happens if my child is
injured or sick during camp?
A qualified trainer will be on duty for the duration of all camps to care for minor injuries and illness. Parents or guardians will be contacted immediately if there is a serious injury or a child needs to leave camp early for a medical reason. Please make a notation on the health form if there is any medical condition we should be aware of in advance of the camper’s participation in our volleyball camp. Our athletic trainer will be available for questions throughout the camp.[top]
What if my child is
sick or injured and cannot attend camp? Do I get a refund?
- There is a $50 per session administrative fee for ALL cancellations
prior to June 1.
- No refunds for cancellations will be given for cancellations
after June 1.
- If you have used the online system to register, please note that their service fee is NON-REFUNDABLE.
What if I am not sure about what
number to put down for her evaluation number?

What is the information that is needed to complete my registration?
We will be asking for Insurance, Evaluation and Airport (if applicable) information through the online registration. It will also take care of the waivers needed for the camps. If you applied through the mail, you will be sent a confirmation with the instructions so that this information is added to your account. [top]
Are parents allowed to watch
camp?
Yes, the camp is open at all times for family and friends to watch. It is recommended that anyone who plans to watch his or her daughter during the week purchase a parking pass. Passes may be purchased at Parking and Transportation Services located at 340 Bonair Siding (the building in the southeast corner of the Maples Parking Lot), 7:30 am – 5:00 pm. There are also metered lots near each gym. No permits are needed for the weekends or after 4 pm on weekdays.

during camp?

What should I bring to overnight
camp?
Overnight campers should bring sheets and blankets or a sleeping bag, a pillow and towels and any toiletries they may need.

No, campers should bring sheets and blankets or a sleeping bag, plus a pillow and towels.
What airport is best to fly into?
For those campers arriving by air, please make your reservations into and out of San Jose Airport ONLY. Please fill out the Airport Information on the website by June 1. We will arrange to have a staff person pick up your daughter at the airport baggage claim area. Flight plans will confirmed by email. Our staff person will be wearing Stanford Volleyball attire for easy identification. At the end of camp, we will also return your daughter to the San Jose airport for her safe return home.
What time should I make the
flights?
Please plan for her to arrive in San Jose between 8:30 am – 10:30 am on July 8 (Camp 1) and / or July 17 (Camp 8) and to depart no earlier than 6 pm on July 11 (Camp 1) and / or July 20 (Camp 8). [top]
Can I request a roommate?
Can friends have a room near each other?
Yes, we will honor roommate requests in nearly every case. Both campers must request each other. There are only double rooms available. If there are more than 2 friends coming to the same camp we will make every effort to place them in rooms near each other. [top]
What happens to my key deposit?
Your $85.00 check (or cash) will be collected by our staff at check in. Please do not send early. We no longer are able to use a credit card as in previous years. Checks should be made out to: Stanford Athletics. At the end of camp, your check or cash deposit will be returned to you when the camper turns her key in.
If I am a commuter camper,
do I need to bring my own lunch and dinner?
No, lunch and dinner are provided in the dorms. The first meal is lunch on the first day and the last meal is lunch on the last day. [top]
As a commuter, do I still
check in at Wilbur Field?
Yes, you need to check in at Wilbur Hall on the first day of camp to get your meal card. Your check-in time is 11:00 – 11:30 am. After the first day, commuter campers should arrive at Maples Pavilion no later than 8:45 each morning for Roll Call. They should be picked up in the evening at Maples no later than 9:15 pm. The person picking them up each evening must sign out campers with the trainer. The last session will be held in Maples for final pickup. [top]

Will lunch be provided at
the day camps?
We will be selling lunches – pre-sale only. A lunch order form will be available on our website. If you would prefer to bring your own lunch, we will have an area for the camper to leave her lunch during the sessions. Please remember to put the camper’s name on the lunch.
Where do I bring the campers
